I have been amazed by some of the unique and delicious recipes I have come across while putting together this series! Have you ever seen anything like this before?

I’ve never seen a recipe for a Christmas soup before, and what a beautiful, festive soup, too! It comes from a fascinating blog, as well, written by the President and Captain of Dawn on the Amazon Tours and Cruises in Peru. You can read the interesting story of its founding here and get the recipe for the Christmas Holiday Soup here, which they serve to guests who have come for more than once cruise at Dawn on the Amazon. What a special treat!

Our gift idea for you today is a children’s books about soup, by none other than Mercer Meyer:

We came across this book one day at the library, and even though we have not checked it out yet or read it, I am familiar with the author, so figured it’s bound to be a good one.

Don’t forget to check out the ideas from the Christmas Smorgasbord! So far, the top two viewed links have been the Christmas Love and my Christmas Pinterest Board. We’d love for more of you to link-up also. Your post does not have to be a new one and you are welcome to link more than one.

Thanks for joining the party today! Â
