The Chef shared this 9/11 tribute with me once, and I loved the message:
He is with us in every moment of life. Every single moment.Â
As much as I hate seeing those images from September 11, 2001 each year on this anniversary, one of those that no one wants to have to remember, I think they are a good reminder of so many things. While thinking back to that day, this is the song that came to mind:
Do you believe that blessings come through raindrops? Healing through tears? I do. When we adopted our son, the final moments of our flight home were very difficult. It’s a story for another day, but when things settled back down and I could look back and reflect on what had happened, I could see Him there with us so clearly.
We had challenges at other times during the adoption process that were trying as well. I had always heard that some of life’s greatest lessons are learned through hardship. I can say now that I know this is true from those experiences.
