You know all those photos we take every day and then sort of forget about them or never find time to do something with them? You will love this new slideshow feature from Fotor!

Most everyone I know loves taking photos, from snapping great family shots to baby’s first steps to the pets to, as a foodie and blogger, much of the food we eat. It’s no wonder Instagram has become so popular! And yet, we live such hectic busy lives that I find it nearly impossible to have the time to preserve these memories in albums or in a fun way digitally.
I used to enjoy scrapbooking. I was able to continue doing that after we brought our son home but once our daughter was born I don’t even know what happened!
On this blog, I added The Chef’s Originals page some time ago to feature John’s original creations but until now have done very little with it. Thanks to Fotor’s new slideshow feature, that problem has now been resolved! And I am loving the end result even better than anything I could have done without a tool like this …. check it out:

If you, like me, have photo projects that you’ve been wanting to get to but have been lacking the time, let me assure you that this takes very little time to create and is so simple with Fotor’s user-friendly interface. Literally, five easy steps, and you’ll have an amazing slideshow too:
- Go to slideshow.fotor.com and look through the 9 different slideshow style options and decide which type of slideshow you want to create. Each option has a different type of music playing in the background and photo presentation and transition, which you can see by hovering over each option and clicking on “Preview”.
- Decide if you want to use photos from Facebook, Instagram, Dropbox or your hard drive. If you are using photos from your hard drive, make any edits you want to make to them now. Fotor also has some free photo editing tools you can use to take care of this. We explored some of those not long ago in this post with photos capturing some summer Myrtle Beach memories.

- Load your photos from Facebook, Instagram, Dropbox or your hard drive. They will appear as in this image in several rows. You will then select from these which ones you want in your slideshow.
- If you know what order you want your photos in, click on each photos you want in the slideshow in that order to add them in … or you can add all the photos to the slideshow at once if you have the exact number the slideshow allows and then move them around if you want to change the order they are in. When you add the photos you want in the slideshow, they will appear in a row at the bottom of the screen, where you can then drag them left or right to adjust the order they are in, if you wish.
- Preview, go back to make any changes you would like … and share!
I created a slideshow from Instagram photos for a website for college students here. It was a lot of fun, too! The possibilities of the types of slideshows you can create with this tool are endless.
Now it’s your turn … enjoy!

That is so cool. I always used YouTube and uploaded photos to create a video slide show. This looks a lot easier.

Neat tool, I can see it being useful for sharing with distant relatives. Will consider it next time we have an album to share.

Looks like a great tool for sharing photos with loved ones far away. God knows I had all the best intentions in the world to make fabulous baby books for each one of my girls but I just got too busy enjoying them. Maybe I could use Fotor to make a fun presentation for my oldest’s 18th birthday
